Due to
the
arrival
of
Cristina
Fernandez
de
Kirchner,
President
of the
Argentinian
Republic,
the
Vice
President
of the
Latin
American
Parliament,
Carolus
Wimmer
stated
on
Thursday
that
“Despite
the
numerous
opinions
trends
conducted
by the
American
imperialism
trying
to
slander
the
Revolutionary
Government,
indicating
that
President
Chavez
is
leading
the
country
to the
regional
isolation,
the
visit
of the
Argentinian
President
reinforces
once
again
the
democratic
and
international
solidarity
vocation
of
Venezuela
with
the
neighbours
of the
region,
as well
as
proves
the
interest
of the
Argentinian
government
to
tighten
even
more
the
links
with
Venezuela”.
This
visit
is also
aimed
to
precise
the
matters
driven
at the
recent
Meeting
of
South
America
and
Arab
Countries
Chancellors
held in
Argentina
last
February,
in
relation
to the
integral
treaty
of
security
and
alimentary
sovereignty
among
other
matters
of
binational
interest.
Likewise,
the
Parliament
representative
expressed
that
“it is
also
important
to
highlight
that
along
with
the
international
campaign
to
disqualify
President
Chavez
on his
inefficient
role to
promote
the
Humanitarian
Exchange
in
Colombia,
Venezuela
has
received
demonstrations
of
solidarity
and
recognition
from
many
countries
for the
important
achievement
of the
national
President.

those
countries
is
Argentina
as it
is
demonstrated
by the
next
coming
meeting
to be
held by
President
Fernandez
with
Ingrid
Betancourt’s
mother
and
Senator
Piedad
Cordoba”.
