of
Colombia
at

Congressman
Carolus
Wimmer
informed
that he
forwarded

against
Colombian
government
for the
violation
of
Ecuadorian
territory
which
was an
“aggression
act
against
the
sovereign
State”
and for
the
violation
of the
International
Human
Rights
principles.
Venezuela
denounced
Colombia
on
Thursday
for
violating
the
Ecuadorian
territory
which
was an
“aggression
act
against
the
sovereign
State”
and for
the
violation
of the
International
Human
Rights
principles.
Our
diplomatic
mission
in
Geneva
delivered
the
statement
which
was
read
during
the
Seventh
Session
of the
Human
Rights
Council
of the
United
Nations.
"We
have
proposed
to
present
the
case at
all
possible
international
forums
in
order
that
the
truth
will be
known”,
said
Congressman
Carolus
Wimmer
in
relation
to the
Colombian
forces
bombing
in
Ecuadorian
territory
during
which
24
persons
were
massacred,
among
them
the
Commander
of the
Revolutionary
Army
Forces
of
Colombia
(FARC),
Raul
Reyes.
"It is
about a
regrettable
intent
to
trample
down
the
national
sovereignty
and
integrity
of a
sister
nation.
The
worst
thing
of the
last
events
is the
demonstration
of
cynicism
and
pure
Machiavellian
politics
used”,
he
stated.
Likewise
he
highlighted
that
Venezuela
does
denounce
those
who
protect,
finance
and
encourage
terrorism.
“The
United
States
of
America
protect
Luis
Posada
Carriles
in
American
territory
and
George
W.
Bush’s
government
refuses
to
extradite
him to
Caracas”,
to be
processed
by the
blowing
up of a
Cubana
de
Aviación
airplane
in
1976,
he
specified.
The
Congressman
expressed
that
his
country
condemns
terrorism
in all
its
ways
and
manifestations,
and
convoke
all
nations
to not
perform
this
kind of
practices
that
lead to
peoples’
genocide.
Finally,
the
Vice
President
of the
Latin
American
Parliament,
GPV,
Congressman
Wimmer
emphasized
that
Venezuela,
watcher
at HRC
expects
that
the
regional
conflicts
will be
left
behind
and
that
the
cooperation
spirit
in
order
to
defend
the
world
human
rights
will be
imposed
in
Geneva. |
